Poor old @CrashMinion wanted a break from having to come up with all the riddles. So here's a new thread where whoever gets the riddle correct has to come up with the next one.
Here's the first one. I'll provide some clues if required, but have a think about it first.............

I'm number 3 and I'm in charge. What am I?

    Fire away!

X cant exists without Y, but Y can exists without X.
The value of X can vary infinitely even if Y remains constant.

      How? And what is Y?

Like the last riddle, this is very relevant to helicopters, but not isolated to them.

So if x can vary infinitely then its something analogue... circular. OK X is Roll Rate and Y is Pitch?

We sometimes get very annoyed when we apply to much Y on our helicopters. But to much X is no problem.
