I have no idea! I see a lot more Spektrum but I think it's because of the RTF/BNF models available.

Well having used both, I prefer Futaba. I had a bad experience with a DX8 - think i got a dud. But anyway the Futaba has been rock solid.

Yes yes, I do have 2 orange receivers that I used with my dx8 along time ago. Yes I did have issues with one that had limited range. The other one worked flawlessly!.

I used Orange Rxs before I switched to sat and FBL. I did have one on my plane go bad.

You spekky boys will like this. I was told just yesterday that my Futaba 18MZ would make a good boat sinker ! We both laughed when I told him it cost more than his boat. The battle between the two will never end !

It doesn`t matter to me what anyone flies, as long as they are having fun. I have flown Futaba and Spektrum, and never had an issue with either one. I am using a DX8 right now, but who`s to say I won`t go back to Futaba, or maybe even Graupner, if I find myself in need of a new transmitter. :)

      +1 for Taranis ACCST.
Never questioned my radio link once with built in telemetry.
OpentTX programming is much easier for newbies to pick up when using H1 FBL units.
Simulating model in software much easier to try out different configs..

      Cheers,
      Yak.
