In the V-bar governor setup, I made a mistake, what mistake did I make?

Its got something to do with leaving a bottle of vodka next to your helicopter.

Side note- I managed my first inverted flight today.... all 20 seconds of it till "The Evil One" manifested himself in a nearby tree. (no damage)

CONGRATULATIONS! well done its another world once you fly inverted. No turning back now @Beaver!

My guess is something to do with the COG of the helicopter. The head being heavy. So Center Of Gravity?

Cog in this case is perfectly neutral. It's another issue.

Sorry beaver I posted same answer twice.... i thought my first post did not go through.. Ok so nose down when the heli is pirouetting - which is a nose down funnel effect. Piro-compensation (thats what it is on a cgy750) could cause this? So thats my guess again

COG is neutral, Swash is level. You have a physical axis- the main rotor shaft, and you have a virtual axis in the cyclic part of your FBL. If COG is 100% neutral and swash is 100% level and assuming FBL and servos are all calibrated correctly, something is out-of-whack in the virtual axis that holds cyclic....... remember, think in simple terms. If nose drops/tail rises (or elevator axis in general is askew of 90 degrees from rotor axis) during flat piro, even if only slightly.... something is throwing off the FBL cyclic axis..... however simple it may be.

Okay, maybe that was too much. Answer: The FBL unit is not mounted level on the heli. (tilted slightly rearward to be specific)

Ok listening to the confusionists arguing in my head !!! I was thinking what the hell could it be! I started thinking that maybe the swash was bent, but simon sort of covered that. Well played @Beaver!...that was great

Oh man... this ones going to be a cracker as well! Because my tick tock was too long? (ie rainbow is a stretched out tick tock, continue the arc path and it will go head first into the ground)

(buh-dum-dum, crash!) Good one! Some have to stretch their tick-tocks, some are just born with it I guess. ........ Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming: That would be correct, except in this case, there is an underlying reason why it happened. (I for one, know this firsthand as of late)

Hmmm. Now let me have a try. You smaked your head on the end of the rainbow because I gave you a "little" push in the right direction?

Nice try, "He who pleasures Himself to shredded carbon fiber"...... But no. In this case, it was my mistake. Oh.... and thanks for manifesting yourself in that tree and prematurely ending my first inverted flight. That was very thoughtful of you to be there to witness that little milestone in my flying career. YOU BAS+ARD!! :p
