A lot of the people here are members down there. The only drawback is that we can only fly weekend's and public holiday

Dont be silly be a smarty come and join the Nazi party adolf! Well as bjay stated Melb Heli Club is home of the heligods, but there is also freestylers who have more 3d pilots. You need to visit both really and decide.

 

I would not trust the internet to be any reflection of a club, or the peoples character in real life.

There are people that are extremely nice in real life, yet nasty on the internet. Except for me, I am a nasty bumwank on both the internet and real life.

Just visit the clubs and see which one would suit your lifestyle circumstances best. Even if there is politics at the club, or its run badly, chances are it will not have any effect on you, the more politics the better, this means that those involved will be too busy squabbling amongst themselves, leaving more flying area for you.

These are the things which I think are the most important in a club:
- a tiolet, so I can shiz myself after almost crashing.
- a canteen so I can buy a coffee, fizzy drink to keep up the alertness, and buy some food, so I can go to the tiolet again.
- pit shelter / cover, with tables chairs etc.

Mate I am a member of both melb heli and freestylers.
Freestylers is about 2mins from my house you can fly 24/7 but it only has a genny for power no dunny but a decent pit area under cover we do night flying there.
Melb heli on the other hand has a wicked club house with a kitchen for coffee drinks in the fridge 240v power for charging it's the shiz man so we all spend the weekends there. Come down and check it out. Also give freestylers a look to they are both ace.

 

melb heli and freestylers are both great clubs but you should come and check them out for your self
melb heli is the home of crash when he turns up we all go home lol

I thought Caulfield was for the elite only pilots ( gold blade standard ) please correct me if i'm wrong!
Would be great place to have all the novices do their mentor program with all the instructors you have available in the club.

 

I enjoy the hobby and don't want to join a club that has a lot of politics, I have had a lot of that in the past, lol.. All clubs have it, but i think it would really take away form the fun of being into rc heli's .. I just want to fly and have fun..

better batteries @5Fidy just around the corner. A Gaui NX7 and a few small KDS heli's and that silly guy Bobby Watts come up with a stupid idea of making a fixed pitch 3D quad, blades that spin backwards what a tool. O yeah and hi @Crash Heligod long time no see last time I seen you was when you confetti crashed that poor kid Min's logo the boys back home are still talking about it.

My Parents in fact did name me Adolf.. It's my real name, As you can imagine it has caused me many problems over the years..
So my way of dealing with it is to make fun of it first, it normally defuses any further situations, It's all just in jest.. you understand. If i don't
others will and then it just gets out of hand.

I'm sorry that you take offense to it and me making fun of it, but it's my name and i'll do with it as i see fit. I have come across many people
such as yourself in the past, It really does not worry me anymore as most of them have some kind of problems in there own life to deal with
and find that i'm an easy target..

So be it.. Life goes on, I have more important things to worry about than defending my name, and the fun that i poke at myself.

Again you have me sincere apologies if this has caused you any distress.. I can already see where this is going and ask people to simply not
respond to any further than i have to the taunts..
