I've only bee flying since march 2014, since then countless crashes on the nano cpx & 130x ... I'd say maybe a dozen between 450.3d, 450x & mini protos ... One interesting one withe the raptor e550 / head speed was fluctuating a bit so thought I would try a tic toc to test it out / massive 180 tail blowout / hit throttle hold / dumb luck managed to float it into the bushes at old AFF site, didn't even touch the ground, not even a scratch on it ... Picked up and flew it again ... Turns out one of the wire windings inside the motor had come loose and was flopping around !!
Hopefully this year will be a bit better

Crashing is just a part of it as long as your having fun thin that's all that matters lol

Well Mick if you get yourself a URUKAY then Crash kills 2 birds with one stone and you get your wish of another rebuild

 

Hahahaha I think a big ass scale mid air explosion would awesome the crowd would love it Muah Ha ha ha

@3dmick seems to be doing loads of new tricks and manoeuvres... lower and lower to the ground... I hate to think of what that might mean... surely just lots of SIM time...

I have posted quite a few here, since I video a lot of my flying, many of them have been caught on film!

 

I had quite a good year with not too many - mostly early in the year, don't think I've had any for about 6 months now.. maybe taking it too easy - lol

*A few 450 crashes - can't remember, maybe less than 3
*A Gaui X4 crash when I just got it - lol
*A Gaui X5 crash

so less than 5.... (as best as I can recall)

That's quite good as I stopped counting at 80 crashes in the first few years of learning.... I was CRASH's Right hand man back then

 

So @jockstrap are the Gaui crashes due to emulating the Gaui hero - Dunkan Bossion?

 

Nah- they were both silly "Dumb Thumbs" - I can't even come close to Dunkan...
